The protocol for fires on the ship is to put it out, scold the person who did it, quarantine the area, and vent out the smoke. It is also of note that protocol itself makes mention of that only happening once, which is inconsistent to a previous answer.

Sectors were found through a biological tag that UV calls the “Parallel Atom of Informational Nature”, and were categorized based on a frequent personality trait that the AU-Doodle would show;
